Because when it comes to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), we all want to do the right thing. As cricket’s governing body in England and Wales, we have a special responsibility to get this right and welcome as many people as we can into our sport. At the same time, we recognise discussions around language can be daunting. That’s why we’ve tried to make this guide as understandable, accessible, and straightforward as possible.
