Collaboration with Disability Sport Wales demonstrates growth in air pistol and rifle disciplines

Through consistent support of the IN Sport series and Para festival events, Welsh Shooting has seen a 20% growth in air pistol and rifle disciplines in the para sport event. Linking these events and local club volunteers has facilitated participant transition into club environments. To continue to develop this work and the opportunities, Welsh Shooting will introduce the Para Trap discipline at next year’s Swansea Para Sport Festival using a facility at Crynant which recently benefitted from a Sport Wales Capital grant.
